  Gomer’s House ¢

In 2005, 22ONE7 began providing no-cost retreats to those in ministry. This vision grew into a full time facility to provide a respite for pastors and missionaries. In 2008, we found a 95 year old home with 5,500 square feet to restore and use for this purpose. We are praying to restore this house so it is free to offer a safe space for others to be restored.

Gomer’s House came from the book of Hosea in the Old Testament. Hosea was a prophet of God and his wife, Gomer, fell into drug addiction and prostitution. Hosea kept going after her and offering restoration to her. That is our heart with this ministry.  We hope to offer restoration to the smallest and greatest of needs.

Gomer’s House also ministers to the poverty stricken,

drug ravaged population around it.

“ I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought me in.”                                                        -Matthew 25:35

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’

declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, ... whom no one seeks after for whom no one cares.”

-Jeremiah 30:17
